To ensure a pleasant and safe experience for all our guests, we kindly ask you to observe the following policies during your stay.

 

Booking and Reservations

• Manual Reservations:
  All bookings are managed manually at the discretion of management.

• Deposit and Payment:
  A 50% deposit is required within 48 hours of booking to confirm your reservation.
  The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to arrival.

• Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

  • Cancellations made 60 days or less before arrival: Deposit is non-refundable.

  • No-shows or early departures: Full payment is forfeited.

 

Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-In: From 14:00 to 18:00. Please inform us in advance if you plan to arrive outside these hours.

• Check-Out: By 10:00. Late departures may be arranged subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

 

Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit is required upon check-in. This covers potential damages or loss of items such as kettles, glasses, fridges, and towels. The deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection at check-out.

 

Use of Facilities

• In-Room Items: Guests are responsible for all items provided in their rooms.

• Missing or damaged items will be charged against the security deposit or the credit card on file.

• Common Areas: Please respect shared spaces and maintain cleanliness for the comfort of all guests.

 

Wildlife and Outdoor Activities

• Safety Precautions: While the farm is bicycle and walking-friendly, it is home to wild animals, insects, and snakes. For your safety, please stay on designated farm roads.

• Farm Map: A map of the farm roads is available near the lapa for photographing, or you may request a copy from management.

Noise and Conduct

• Quiet Hours: To ensure a peaceful environment, we request that noise levels be kept to a minimum after 22:00.

• Behaviour: Any conduct that disrupts the comfort of other guests or staff will not be tolerated

• It is at management's discretion to decide which behaviour is deemed unacceptable.

• Undesirable behaviour may result in termination of your stay, without refund.

 

Children Policy

• Supervision: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially during outdoor activities.

• Use of the pool is allowed only with Adult supervision

 

Pets

• To protect our wildlife and ensure the comfort of all guests, pets are not permitted on the property.

 

Liability

• Sediba Lodge is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your stay.

• Guests are advised to have comprehensive travel insurance.
