Sediba Lodge has something for any type of visitor. Its a typically family friendly environment with self drive or guided game drives, guided walks and visits to local sights off the farm. There are some large animals on the farm so it is not recommended that visitors walk around alone unless they are familiar with the bush. A variety of medium sized game such as Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Kudu inhabit the farm, as well as Giraffe, Brown Hyena, Jackals and over 280 identified bird species. A visit to the main dam is a great way to end the day after looking for some animals and we have a small covered deck and look out point at "Wag'n'bietjie".
There is enough space within the compound for kids to have some freedom without getting in anyone else's way, and whether you prefer to relax in and around the chalets, or enjoy the pool area or garden, or sit around the firepit - its all up to you.
For those looking for a bit more adventure, the farm often acts as a base for groups of 4x4 enthusiasts and off road bikers, and access to the surrounding area is made possible by contributions to the local community. Biking on the farm is not permissible but please enquire about local routes, or when a group is going to be riding out from the farm with a guide.
WILDLIFE TRAINING

Glenn Burton-Durham is a qualified wildlife guide and shares his extensive wealth of knowledge of the fauna and flora on the farm, including some spotted owlets who nest in the compound.
EXPLORE THE AREA

Jericho rock is a famous landmark very nearby the farm and accessible by 4x4, motorbikes and on foot, giving a fantastic view of the surrounding area
